Thursday, February 4, the Broken Speech Poetry Slam presents Jelian's annual birthday show and like last year, we bring you the sex.  This is our annual Erotica Slam, which also celebrates our lovely host's birthday.  To sign up in advance, e-mail slam@brokenspeech.com or show up before the slam begins at 9:30pm or so at Stardust Video & Coffee (1842 Winter Park Rd).  Your $2 donation goes toward Team Orlando 2010. 

 

The Broken Speech Poetry Slam and MegaloMusic present the 2010 Broken Speech Grand Slam at The Cameo Theatre (1013 E. Colonial Dr) on April 29.  Ten of Orlando's best poets will fight for the right to be on Team Orlando 2010, representing The City Beautiful at the 2010 National Poetry Slam in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Last year, Team Orlando placed as one of the twenty top slam teams in the nation.  Doors open at 8pm, shows starts at 9pm.  $5 gets you into one of the most amazing shows of the year.
