First to start off the evening, we have a featuring duet known as The Wonder Twins (Chad Anderson & Nicole Homer from NJ). These two poets are NPS semi finalists that will blow you away. $5 suggested donation (all proceeds go to their food and gas).

Next we have a four person Head To Head Haiku/Senryu Tournament for the Broken Speech Xtreme Haiku/Senryu Championship. To compete in the Head To Head Tournament, you will need at least 30 haikus/senryus. We have only two slots left. To sign up, e-mail slam@brokenspeech.com.

And the main event, 2008 Grand Slam Champion Curtis Meyer versus the Broken Speech Xtreme Intergalactic Heavyweight Champion Dark Magick Mariah for her championship belt. You will only see these two poets in this bout in a best of five where the winner will face Ronin Kobyashi in his long awaited rematch on July 3. Will Curtis Meyer finally win a BS-X Match or will Dark Magick Mariah once again destroy her opposition and face the Portuguese Leviathan?

The only way for you to find out is to be at the Broken Speech Xtreme Arena(Stardust Video & Coffee) at 9:30 Thursday May 22.
